It's summertime at a remote country house in the Uckermark nestling in the midst of protective woods. During the course of the summer, several generations of family will come here.

A day in the life of the 21 years old Deniz, who aims to become an actress and makes her living by dubbing movies. After she has split with her old boyfriend she gets to know Diego and spends the evening with him.

In Spring 2005, Thomas Arslan took a trip from Istanbul and Ankara to the southwest and from there to the Iranian border. This is his personal view of this country: not journalistic reportage, but impressions of daily life.
