After 40 years of absence, Felice returns to his hometown: Naples. He rediscovers the places, the codes of the city and a past that eats away at him.

With Italy about to go to war in 1914, this is the story of the encounter between a goatherd called Lucia, the commune of young Northern Europeans led by Seybu and the town's young doctor on the unique island of Capri.

Three men have been friends since childhood. To win a prize they steal something from a girl. The girl is not what she seems. Things go downhill for the friends. On a weekend get away secrets are revealed and people end up dead.

American sailor Dean Barry, 23 years old, lands in Naples in 1944. Dean develops feelings for native Lucia, with whom he has a son. Dean is compelled to leave them but finally returns to see his family again, in an changed city.
