In the frozen, war torn landscape of occupied Poland during World War II, a team of Allied commandos is sent on a deadly mission behind enemy lines to extract a rocket scientist from the hands of the Germans.

August 1944, British soldiers led by a US Captain are dropped in France on a mission. Commando Sergeant McBain and Captain Jackson must overcome animosity for the mission's success.

After their football team is relegated, two fans kidnap the referee who they believe unfairly disallowed a winning goal.
