Momoko Kôchi (March 7, 1932–November 5, 1998) was a Japanese actress, best known for her role of Emiko Yamane in Inoshiro Honda's "Gojira" (1954), and she replayed Emiko in her last film Godzilla vs. Destoroyah in 1995.

After a dinosaur-like beast - awoken from undersea hibernation by atom bomb testing - ravages Tokyo, a scientist must decide if his similarly dangerous weapon should be used to destroy it.

An American reporter visiting Tokyo becomes a witness to the city's destruction by a dinosaur-like beast awoken from undersea hibernation by atom bomb testing.

The aftermath of the Oxygen Destroyer brings forth Destoroyah, a beast intent on killing Godzilla, who is on the verge of a nuclear meltdown.

Godzilla's initial 1957 French theatrical debut resulted in an entirely different version of the film altogether, combining Toho's original Gojira with elements of the re-edited US release with Raymond Burr.
