From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia George Hackathorne (February 13, 1896 – June 25, 1940) was an American actor of the silent era. He appeared in 59 films between 1916 and 1939. His interment was located in Hollywood Forever Cemetery.

A nobleman posing as a necktie salesman falls in love with the daughter of a circus puppeteer although he is already married to the daughter of his country's war minister.

An inventor starts a family with his childhood sweetheart, but after he becomes successful, he becomes restless and takes up with another woman. However, the woman's true nature is revealed, he realizes his mistake.
