After poisoning his wife, a local gangster blames the village priest for her death and incites an outraged crowd to set fire to his cabin.

A greedy businessman wants a promotion so bad he arranges for a work rival and his entire family to be murdered. The wife / mother then returns as a vengeful ghost armed with a steel-clawed gloved.
