Poland, 1990. The first euphoric year of freedom, but also of uncertainty for the future. Four apparently happy women of different ages decide it's time to change their lives, and fulfill their desires.

Metka, law student, applies for an internship at the renowned firm. His morals are being put to the test when he's asked to defend the perpetrator of a hit-and-run. Only he knows who's actually being defended.
