The story revolves around Kottayam Kunjachan (Mammootty), an erstwhile thug, who has just been released from jail.

Pathrose, a poor man, struggles to earn for a living until he gets a job as a lorry driver. His life takes a turn when he learns about the illegal activities his boss is involved in.

Ananthan Pilla murders Chacko for being an informer of his illicit business. When the police refuse to file a complaint, Chacko's son approaches a prominent family known as the Uppukandam Brothers.

Warring rivals Pappu and Chackappan unite when the former's nephew Antony and the latter's daughter Nimmy fall in love. After a sniper shoots Pappu, Antony embarks on a mission to find the killer.

The members of the Uppukandam family led by Bobby (Srikanth) are in feud with Srambikkal Sathyanesan (Rajmohan Unnithan) and also with the son of an old rival, Ettuveettil Ganeshan (Richard).

The movie narrates the story about a family who got displaced from their home village due to the tribulations they had to face from an illegal money lender.
