Nicolas Guillot

1809, France. Captain Neuville is called to the front, leaving his future bride heartbroken. Her sister decides to write letters on his behalf to cheer her up. But it all goes south when Neuville reappears.

An elderly curmudgeon lets out a room in his large apartment rent-free to a young student - on condition that she does everything in her power to ruin his son's marriage.

The more you love, the more you lie - It's very difficult to tell the truth to your close ones, specially if you don't want to hurt their feelings. But then starts a vicious circle of lies which can hardly be stopped .
