Hired to investigate a suspicious death in the town of Wander, a paranoid private eye becomes convinced the case is linked to a conspiracy and a cover-up.

It follows a mother and two sons vacationing in Japan. Their younger son almost drowns in a lake, and soon after the accident, the parents realize that something is wrong with their boy.

A wedding planner's childhood friend decides to hire her to plan his wedding, and the pair get closer as the future bride is distracted by her work.
