Alain Saury

During World War II, a recently widowed young woman is recruited to work as a spy in France.

The ruined Baron Philippe de Sigognac, meets one day a troupe of traveling actors. Attracted by Isabelle, and by the enthusiasm of his acting companions, he joins the troupe.

An escaped convict gets involved with a lesbian couple, and is finally killed due to his rough ways.
