The Garrisons live with a Great Dane who thinks he's a dainty dachshund. His identity crisis results in an uproarious series of household crises that reduce the Garrisons' house to shambles.

During the Oklahoma Land Rush, the lawlessness is exacerbated by the McCord gang's feud with the Kincaids, who are trying to bring law and justice to the region.

Three strangers, a stripper, an alcoholic wife and a travelling salesman embark on a life-changing journey. As the road presents challenges, each character faces his or her own shortcomings, not knowing where life will lead next.
